Cuisine of Peru Cooking Class, The Seasoned Chef (Denver, CO) In an interactive cooking class, Pica Peru partner and chef/owner of Limon Restaurant Alex Gurevich will teach Perus's acclaimed novoandino (New Andean) cuisine. The modern cuisine blends Peru's traditional ingredients with modern, international cooking techniques and flavors. Papas & Vino Dinner, Limon restaurant (Denver, CO) In celebration of the International Year of the Potato, Limon restaurant and Pica Peru are hosting a special potato and wine dinner. This night, Limon's menu will feature a variety of dishes inspired by Peruvian flavors and diverse potatoes. Fresh Flavors: Peru Cooking Class, Cook's Street School of Fine Cooking (Denver, CO) In the elegant kitchens of Cook's Street, Pica Peru's chef Yasmin Lozada-Hissom, native born Peruvian and nationally-acclaimed pastry chef of Duo restaurant, shares the secrets of classic Peruvian cooking. Pica Peru's Kazia Jankowski and co-author of the Moon Peru guide will be in attendance as will the Consulate General of Peru Guido Loayza. Moon Peru Slideshow & Talk, Changes in Latitude (Boulder, CO) Kazia Jankowski, Ross Wehner, and Renee del Gaudio, co-authors of Moon Peru , will share their adventures of writing the Moon Peru guide at Boulder's Changes in Latitude.
