Highlights
The Lima—Mancora vacation starts with a culinary tour of Peru 's capital city. Meeting chefs, visiting markets, and tasting the dishes of acclaimed chefs allows you to experience the depth of Peru 's cuisine before heading off to the beach town of Mancora. Leisurely days in Mancora start with seafood—intensive, Peruvian cooking classes and end with seaside meals. Classes are taught by a professional chef in a familial atmosphere, with the intention of teaching skills and Peruvian recipes that can be reproduced anywhere in the world.
This Peru trip is ideal for travelers who want to pair an authentic cultural experience with a truly relaxing vacation. The Peruvian cooking classes feature some of the most traditional, close—to—the—heart Peruvian foods. Firsthand you'll taste the flavors that have created the Peruvian national identity. To complement the traditional dishes, our instructor will also teach creative, new takes on the classic flavors.
The Pica Peru staff can help you link your Peruvian cooking vacation with a side trip to Cusco and the lost city of Machu Picchu or to the Peru travel destination of your choice.
With advance notice, Pica Peru can coordinate customized Peruvian culinary vacations.
