PICA PERU TERMS & CONDITIONS
Program Cost:
Includes:
- 4 half-day interactive cooking classes
- 8 or 9 nights (depending on selected trip) in four- or five-star accommodations, double occupancy
- Domestic airline flights
- Airport and ground transfers
- Meals and beverages as outlined in detailed trip itinerary
- Gratuities in restaurants
- Fluent English- and Spanish-speaking tour leader
- All entrance fees on group outings
Does Not Include:
- Gratuities for guides or hotels
- Personal expenditures (telephone calls, laundry, etc.)
- Personal outings
- Travel or Medical Insurance
Reservations: Reservations will be considered confirmed upon receipt of your $500, non-refundable deposit. Trips are limited to a maximum number of twelve people. If there is additional interest, a waiting list will be used.
Deposits and Final Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due upon booking.
Final payment of the balance is due 60 days before the start of your vacation. All trips booked 60 days or less before the vacation begins must be paid in full upon booking. Payments are processed by Peru Culinary Vacations LLC and may be made by check or Google CheckOut.
Cancellations:
All cancellation requests must be made in writing via e-mail and will be considered effective the day that Pica Peru receives the notice. Your $500 non-refundable deposit will not be returned, and all other monies will be refunded according to the following Cancellation schedule:
- 90+ days prior to vacation: refund of 50% of monies paid above $500 deposit
- 90-61 days prior to vacation: refund of 30% of monies paid above $500 deposit
- 60 days or less prior to vacation: refund of 0% of monies paid above $500 deposit
Pica Peru reserves the right to cancel any of our vacations without advance notice. In such a case, Pica Peru will refund any payments made, including the $500 non-refundable deposit. In any Pica Peru trip cancellation, the company will not be held responsible for any nonrefundable airline tickets its clients have booked.
Prices: Pica Peru reserves the right to change its prices without prior notice. Price changes will not apply to any trips booked before the date of the price change.
Travel and Medical Insurance: We strongly recommend that all travelers have both travel and medical insurance effective in Peru during the trip.
Passports, Visa, and Official Paperwork: Travelers are responsible for acquiring appropriate and valid migratory documents, including, but not limited to, current passports, visas, and certification of yellow fever shots.
Local Law: You are responsible for adhering to all Peruvian laws and regulations.
Responsibility: Upon registering for a Pica Peru program, you assume all risks associated with the activities of your trip with Pica Peru or on your own. This includes, but is not limited to, travel by car, van, or other means of transportation, forces of nature, accidents, and/or illness. You will hold Pica Peru, or any of its agents, harmless from liability, actions, causes of action, claims, debts, and demands of every kind and nature whatsoever.
Unused Services: Pica Peru will issue no refund for unused trip services.
Force Majeure: Pica Peru, or any of its agents, shall not be held liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays, or loss of enjoyment, of any kind whatsoever, resulting from events beyond our or a supplier's reasonable control, including but not limited to lockouts, labor disputes or disruptions, wars, hostilities, blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, or acts of restraint imposed by government authorities.
